How to root Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505, LTE Qualcomm version) on Android Jelly Bean [Guide]

This guide is for rooting the GT-I9505 model of Samsung Galaxy S4. That is the version that has LTE and quad-core Qualcomm processor. This root method has been tested on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and firmware XXUAMD2. This method may or may not work for other versions of Galaxy S4 and other firmwares.
This guide is written for Windows users.
Before you can root your Galaxy S4, make sure to do the following:
