    Fail, for sure.

    I guess the computer was just too busy twiddling its thumbs vectoring graphicals and shadings and transparencies to do what a computer really ought to be competent doing.

    I had this problem constantly with Windows 7 and it wasn’t limited to “Computer”, it was every folder, at least half of the time. I googled it and found that I wasn’t the only one.

    When I installed 8 and didn’t have the problem anymore I figured MS fixed it, but maybe it was just luck of the draw.
