We’ve all heard it before. Nokia phones are known by many to be some of the most durable devices in the market. If you’ve ever owned one, I’m sure you’d agree.
In a newly released video, the company attempts to explain the “Nokia promise of quality and reliability.” I’d say they explained it pretty well. As early as the design process, the phones are put through some intense quality and reliability tests.
They’re knocked around in a tumbler for hours, dropped on steel floors hundreds of times, bombarded with rainstorm-like amounts of water and even stewed for over a week in a hot and humid chamber. If the phone doesn’t make it through Nokia’s testing lab, then it’s back to the drawing board.
So if anyone ever asks why Nokia phones are so durable, now we can answer them. They have a pretty intense testing lab over there.
