E-mail is dead! …Or is it? [Infographic]

I cannot vouch for the accuracy (or inaccuracy) or the stats quoted in this infographic, but I can say this much: whoever claims email is dead, especially in favor of social networks like Facebook and Twitter, is an idiot. Excuse my French.

Not surprising at all. “Twits” limit you to 140 characters, “Feysbook” requires you to check out someone’s posts yourself, etc. Of course I sometimes think email should be called eSpam, but it still goes directly to the person without effort on their part.

If it were not for the need of shipping packages and products, snail mail would probably be dead. Who knows, with 3d printers available now, someday it might be.
