Never understood why Windows needs a hint there in the first place. It’s pointless for many, even a security risk sometimes like in this case and network domains.

Personally, I just type x to make it shut up and continue.

I just wanted to share one of my many tech support stories.

I have been into the computer field since about the late 80’s.

On one of my first jobs I was dealing with a business owner who reportedly was having problems with his computer. He said his emails where not going out and that the computer was running very slow. I said I would start with the possible hardware problem first as it may be the cause of the email problem. I took off the hood and observed some paper near the front. As I looked closer I found that the 5-1/2 floppy drive was full of paper. I asked the owner if he knew about this. His quote to me was “When I put the mail into the slot it does not go anywhere” (No Lie, my face just dropped). Some people just don’t get computers and shouldn’t have one!!!!
