WaterBean is a cheap, portable, and easy-to-use water filter

We spend millions of dollars to buy bottled water every year. Why do we do this? Simply because we want clean water. Not only do water bottles cost us a lot of money, they also pollute our environment. WaterBean is an alternative way to save money and save our environment. According to Graem Glen, the maker of WaterBean, one WaterBean could prevent 280 water bottles from polluting our environment.

WaterBean is a portable filter that you insert into any plastic bottle. Just fill up the water bottle like you would normally do. Then, the filter will remove impurities such as chlorine to “get rid of odours and bad taste” and also adds minerals; after that, all you have to do is pour the water out of the bottle and drink.

The filter can last up to 3 months, and afterward you can recycle it as plant fertilizer. It is made of coconut carbon which is the best quality carbon available today and is totally safe for you to ingest. Of course, 3 months is the maximum lifespan — how long it lasts for you depends on how often you drink water.

You can currently help fund WaterBean through their Indiegogo page (see via link below after video) with a minimum bid of $2. It is a project that needs $35,000 in one month. So, go help save our environment.
