To be fair to whatever website is shown above, the higher cost plan has more minutes and texts. However, the plan is being presented as for someone who “need[s] more data”… yet the plan has less data than the already selected plan, and costs more. The kicker? Minutes and texts are significantly cheaper for carriers than data, so the carrier selling the plan with 500 MB data is probably making a lot more money than the carrier selling the plan with 1,000 MB data.
