Ever Wanted Your Own .com? Get it for only $1.99.

GoDaddy.com is currently running a promotion for a limited time where you can register a .com/.net/.org (other domains maybe included in this offer but those three are the only confirmed ones) for only $1.99 for the first year. Enter 199TEST during checkout to get this promotion. Just remember, after the first year, normal renewal charges will apply (usually around $10 a year). This coupon is limited one per account.

Alternatively, if you want to go even cheaper, you can get a .info domain for $0.99 for the first year. Again normal renewal charges will apply after the first year is over. But there is no limit on how many .info domains you can register.

Oh and just so you guys do not get caught off guard, every domain registration has a $0.20 ICANN fee added onto it. So total price for a .com/.net/.org via that promotion would be $2.19 for the first year and for a .info $1.19 for the first year.

Also, as far as I know, GoDaddy is offering limited free web hosting and emails with their domain purchases (click here for more info).

So, if you have always wanted a domain but have not gotten one yet…now would be a great time to do it. If you are weary of this offer because you do not have the technical know-how needed to build a website, do not worry. RationalWorks.net will save you – click here to read the article on RationalWorks.net and the free service it provides.

    Hi Ashraf,

the free service provided by RationalWorks.net to build a new website from scratch is simply amazing…can’t believe my eyes!!

    Thanks man for your “prompt”…LOL!!

However, as for as the WEB HOSTING PLANS are concerned, besides those recommended by them in their website (“eboundhost” and “InMotionHosting”), I would also add the following one:

[Removed by Ashraf. Reason: Bluehost sucks; they are an overseller. Sorry]

    Finally think twice about GODADDY.

In fact, according to RationalWorks.net team, Godaddy is known for their domain registering service and NOT for their HOSTING service. If you would like to register a domain, godaddy is the way to go. But DO NOT let them talk you into getting their hosting. Granted, Godaddy hosting is bound to come with the same excellent support that comes with Godaddy domain registering service, but a quick google search reveals that their hosting service has sub-par reviews, and they do not have very great features for the price you pay when compared to other hosting options.

    Waiting for your feedback.

    Have a nice Sunday.

    O. Lamoree,

You did not read the post bro. I am not talking about that 1.99 domain deal you posted.

To get the $1.99 domain deal I talked about, you have to type in 199TEST in the coupon box when you are checking out. No catch.

Er, $1.99 first year….”For all new & current customers with any New Non-Domain purchase! No qty limit!**” And the fine print:

Products must be new to the customer (not currently owned) to qualify. One 1 yr $1.99* .com, .us, .mobi**, .biz, .net, or .org domain per each qualifying product; new, transfer or renewal. Recurring billing charges, existing product, domain renewals, domain backorders, premium domain names and domain registration products (such as Privacy, Business Registration, Express Appraisals, Certified Domain, Domain Ownership Protection and CashParking), Gift Cards, photo prints and merchandise, and some “add-on” companion products (such as additional hosting bandwidth and storage) do not qualify as product purchases. Only qualifying domain names included in qualifying purchases are subject to discount.

Privacy on domains, premium domain names, and reduced price domain name bundles are not eligible for additional discount promotions.

Refunds on qualifying products will be reduced by the difference between the current retail price of the discounted domain and $1.99.

    * Plus ICANN fee of 20 cents per domain name year. Certain TLD’s only.
** Only new .MOBI domain names are eligible for $1.99 pricing.

    There’s ALWAYS a catch!

As to the .info domains at $0.99, I couldn’t find the Catch, but there must be one!
