Apple has sent out invites for its media event on September 10. The event will be held at its Cupertino headquarters and will begin at 10:00 AM Pacific Time. The invitation features multiple colored circles, possibly referring to the different colors of the rumored iPhone 5C, and features the tagline, “This should brighten everyone’s day.”

No announcement was made regarding a livestream for the event, but if it’s anything like Apple’s previous event, that should be cleared up as we get closer to the event. In terms of the announcements at the actual event, Apple is widely expected to unveil the long-rumored and possibly leaked iPhone 5C, which is a low-cost addition to the iPhone lineup, as well as the iPhone 5S, the successor to the iPhone 5 that is rumored to include improvements like a faster processor, improved camera and a fingerprint sensor.

Any dotTechies excited for the event? Personally, I can’t wait to replace my slow and aging iPhone 4! iOS 7 should be a welcome change too.
