Blizzident 3D printed toothbrush brushes your teeth in 6 secondsOctober 7, 2013 0 Email article | Print article
Waking up in the mornings to brush our teeth is probably one of the most annoying things in life. Yet we have no choice but to do it if we want to keep a safe and healthy mouth. But what if we could have a toothbrush capable of completely brushing our teeth in six seconds? Yes, almost perfectly awesome.
Now, this toothbrush is not your usual purchase at the Pharmacy or Supermarket toothbrush. It’s fully 3D printed and custom designed to fit around all the teeth in your mouth. This thing resembles a mouth guard so it might come off as scary to some; however, if the idea here takes off, we would no longer need our hands for brushing.
The bristles are positioned at a 45 degree angle across your gum line and teeth, along with bristles that get between your teeth for a comprehensive scrub, so flossing could be a thing of the past with this concept.
To get that 6 second time of brushing your teeth, just simply place the 3D printed toothbrush inside your mouth. Fit in place and begin to bite and release for 10-15 times and voila, you have clean teeth. Blizzident, the company behind this concept, claims users can even brush their tongues and floss all at the same time with the 3D printed toothbrush.
For those who are super excited for this toothbrush, it will set you back around $300. Furthermore, it is expected to last for up to 1 year and 100 percent recyclable. $300 is quite a lot to spend on a toothbrush, so we’ll just wait a couple years for a price drop, no biggie.
