Sadly, technology has made us into this [Comic]

I don’t know about other people, but this is 100% true for me. No, I don’t tweet or post comments or pictures or that other BS while watching TV. However, I do constantly use my smartphone to do other things while watching a show or movie. And I’ve turned my wife into the same. Mrs. Boss, nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo…

The only time I surf when watching TV is if it’s something I don’t really care about. For instance, my wife watches The Voice, so when it’s on I either surf on my laptop or actually get some work done. However, if there is something important on – like Doctor Who, or Big Bang Theory – then my attention is on the TV only.

In either case, there is no liking or tweeting going on.

Sadly! Yes. And it doesn’t stop there. I have a long list too long to put here. Seems like we as a society have fallen in love with a piece of electronic plastic and what’s worse is that we let it control everything we do.

Hard to have an personal relationship with anyone who owns one of these things. They won’t ingnore it’s beeping and chirping to continue the converstion you are having; have to answer that text of phone call.

I won’t own one and I won’t let anyone bring one to the dinner table.
