Car changes color when touched by water, thanks to new heat-sensitive paint [Video]

That is a Nissan Skyline R33 by Auto Kandy, a bodyshop based in the UK. The car uses a new type of heat-sensitive paint which makes the car change colors when touched by water.

    In a country where we get a LOT of rain (UK) I’m not sure this is a good idea (streaky crap colour anyone?). However, the colour may change but I think the registration, aka number plate, will stay the same. Only a moron would lose it, surely? :D

    Not out of a movie, out of my toybox when I was 8! I loved these cars with the little track and a tiny carwash, they operate off temperature change so not just water.

    However…. say you leave this car out in the sun then forget where you parked, car changes color in the hot sun.. and now you’re really in trouble.
