Awsome star trails at the Racetrack in Death Valley [Wallpaper]

racetrackstartrailsdeathvalley_1920x1080

Simply beautiful this image is. The detail of that single rock and the ground made this shot; the star trails are the frosting on top.

[@Mr.Dave] Same thing happened to me, but I don’t have Avast installed. I’m guessing it was Firefox that gave us the attack page warning.

I’ve never had any reason to suspect “InterfaceLIFT” so the first thing I did was go to my “Wallpaper” bookmarks (favorites) and clicked on my “InterfaceLIFT” bookmarked link; it loaded with no problems and no warnings. I found the image featured here and downloaded it onto my computer. I then uploaded that file to “VirusTotal” (0/48) and Jotti (0/23), both of which consisted of “Avast”; nothing found.

So my best guess is that it has something to do with the link provided on this page, but I’ll let Ashraf figure that one out.

Tried to go to InterfaceLift using the link above — been there many times in the past thanks to all the amazing pics you post here. Today I got this screen:

    “Reported Attack Page!

This web page at interfacelift.com has been reported as an attack page and has been blocked based on your security preferences.

Attack pages try to install programs that steal private information, use your computer to attack others, or damage your system.

Some attack pages intentionally distribute harmful software, but many are compromised without the knowledge or permission of their owners.”

Not sure what software caused it, I’m using Avast! and Firefox with several extensons (no more IObit stuff :-) I’m guessing it’s Avast!, it never says what program displayed it.

I clicked the button about ‘why the warning was displayed’ and got a Google Safe Browsing Diagnostic page that includes:

“What is the current listing status for interfacelift.com/wallpaper/details?
