This Xbox One costs $10,000. Why? It is made of pure gold

If you head over to Harrods in London right now, you can buy the gamer in your life the most ridiculous thing available in gaming right now. This 24-karat gold Xbox One costs a whopping $10,000 and offers no extra features whatsoever. Unless you consider pure gold and exclusivity a feature.
If this unit was being auctioned off at a charity, it would kind of make sense. The person that ends up buying it could even justify the purchase. But being simply an expensive gold version of the console, it will remain a clever marketing ploy by Harrods and one of the most ridiculous things you can buy next to a Vertu handset.
