The high cost of multitasking in the work place [Infographic]

We all multitask, but I doubt any of us feel more dumber than we already are due to doing several things at once. What a dumb infographic eh? Be gone you foul scum.

Actually this info graphic is spot on in its first paragraph! The rest just provides the back up info.

Multitasking on things that are not important or not requiring your full attention is fine. BUT this is where I have the issue, when it comes to things that are important and or which require your full attention then multitasking is bad.

Yes I can multitask and have done so many times. BUT when it comes to something important or requires my full attention I don’t.

IMO multitasking is a stupid idea and to expect someone to be an expert at it when looking to hire staff is ridiculous. I always have to laugh when I see job ads stating that they want someone who can multitask.
