[@Someguy] If you compare the Android freebies with the iOS freebies, you’ll find out that the iOS freebies are far more superior and high quality. I’ll be more than happy to post high quality apps but these are the ones that go free and since it’s a freebie, we have to post it. Maybe you won’t find it useful but someone else will.

[@Someguy] It is true, some content takes more effort than others. However, I’m not exactly sure how you want us to put more effort into freebies. And FWIW, these freebie posts are one of the more popular ones on dotTech currently.

[@Macky] Do you use Signature Barbering Pro? I love freebies, but these are just low quality apps nobody might possibly use.[@Ashraf] I understand that different content is required for a larger user base, but I just think this seems like low-quality, low effort content.

[@Someguy] To everyone their own. You can easily ignore the content you don’t like. We are growing and expanding our user base — it is natural we expand the type of content we provide.

Not that it really matters in this particular case, because these freebie posts won’t be on dotTech for long — we are creating a new SharewareOnSale-like website for Android/iOS apps and freebies will go there once we have it up.

    [@Macky] Thank you :-)

I’m disappointed Ashraf. I loved coming to this site for interesting tech news written by a non-generic tech news writer. Now, half the content if not more is this crap. Not one damn person uses any of these free apps. It’s just ruining my respect for the site.
