Kayla Finley, who is a 27-year-old living in South Carolina, has been arrested for not returning a VHS tape that she rented 9 years ago.

Finley had gone into the police station to file a report dealing with harassment, and when she did so, the officers realized that there was an old warrant out for her arrest and detained her.

The warrant in question was from a video rental store which has since closed. It was called Dalton Video, and after failing to return the movie Monster in Law, which has both Jennifer Lopez and Jane Fonda in it, the store sent Finley a number of warnings and then went to the police after she failed to respond.

Finley was arrested on Thursday and after spending a day in jail was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond. “I’m no criminal, but Pickens County Sheriff’s Office sure made me feel like i was,” a woman claiming to be Finley wrote on her Facebook page.

Folks, no one is above the law in this great nation. Unless you are the NSA. Hahahaha, see how I linked NSA to this unrelated post to increase page views? Ashraf should give me a raise.
