Philadelphia’s 437-foot tall Cira Centre was recently used as the venue for “Skyscraper Tetris,” one of the many events of Philly Tech Week. Drexel University professor Frank Lee, who has behind the spectacle, says the display started out as a love letter to video games but eventually became a way to “unite the city of Philadelphia.”

In some ways, he was right. Hundreds of onlookers turned out to witness what will most likely end being considered the largest game of Tetris ever played. Tetris is also due to celebrate its 30th anniversary in June.
