Thanks for the offer, Ashraf. I’ve never used a bookmarks manager although I have five machines here. since I rarely accumulate more than than 60-70 bookmarks, I find it easy to include them in my other syncing softwares. Maybe another time, my friend.
-best
Have you ever used a bookmarks/favorites manager or synced bookmarks/favorites across multiple browsers or computers? If yes, please name the software/service you have used.
Yes, Linkman Lite has been my favourite (in fact, the ONLY) bookmarks manager for many years. :)
What will be the main task you will use Linkman Pro for (sync bookmarks across browsers, sync bookmarks across computers, backup bookmarks, etc.)?
Bookmarks synching across mutliple computers.
Is there anything Outer Technologies can improve in Linkman Pro (bug fixes, more features, etc.)? If yes, please specify.
Haven’t used Linkman Pro before as I’ve only been using Linkman Lite. Had a look at the features list for Linkman Pro and it seems that it already has all the bells & whistles that I want.
Do you think $25 (for a single license) is a fair price for Linkman Pro? If no, please specify the price you think is fair.
For Linkman Pro, I’d honestly say $25 for a single license is more than fair, since I’ve been having positive experiences with Linkman Lite for many years.
1. no… have never used this type of software
2. would like to synch bookmarks between browsers
3. I have not used the program so am not able to give any comment or suggestions.
4. $25 seems high to me. I would hope this type of software would be available for less than $10. Less expensive = more users :)

Do you think $25 (for a single license) is a fair price for Linkman Pro? If no, please specify the price you think is fair.
i think that $25 is ok!
1. I have not used a syncing program for bookmarks in the past. But I have tried foxmarks, although I never kept up with it.
2. I would use Linkman Pro to sync and manage my bookmarks across multiple browsers. I have thousands of bookmarks and they really need organized.
3. I don’t know what needs to be improved but I am an active contributor to developers I like and would submit any suggestions, should I have any.
4. $25 looks like a fair price.
1) I’ve just used the bookmark manager builtin to the browsers.
2) Syncing across Chrome/Opera/IE on 3 different computers.
3) Ensure seamless integration between Chrome/Opera/IE.
4) Yes, I think that $25 is a reasonable price.

No. Probably about $10.
1. I am currently using Xmarks but would love to give linkman pro a try.
2. I will be using linkman pro to synchronize bookmarks between browsers.
3. Have not tried the program yet
4. If the program is able to win me over, I don’t think $25 is too much but doesn’t $19.99 sound way better?
Thanks for the change to win this Ashraf. You always seem to come up with great software.
Tex
Asheraf
1. I have not tried any bookmark software yet
2. I would like to use this program to sync bookmarks between browsers and a couple of computers

Correction to my #33 post. I have been using LinkExtend and not Linkman.
AoA Ashraf,
Please enter me into this draw. Here are the answers of questions:
1- Have you ever used a bookmarks/favorites manager or synced bookmarks/favorites across multiple browsers or computers? If yes, please name the software/service you have used.
Yes, I used following:
XMarks (for IE and Firefox)- Currently in use
Mozilla Weave Sync (FireFox only)- Currently in use
Yahoo Bookmarks (IE and FireFox)
Google Bookmarks (IE and FireFox)
Transmute (Sync between multiple browsers)
I also tested following
LinkCollector (from GiveAwayoftheDay.com)
Tidyfavorites (from GiveAwayofTheDay.com)
2-What will be the main task you will use Linkman Pro for (sync bookmarks across browsers, sync bookmarks across computers, backup bookmarks, etc.)?
In fact, I may use Linkman Pro for sync bookmarks across multiple browsers and across computers and definitely taking backups. Because I’m working in a WAN environment and have to work across groups/teams and multiple computers.
3-Is there anything Outer Technologies can improve in Linkman Pro (bug fixes, more features, etc.)? If yes, please specify.
I never used Linkman Pro before, but I just review the site you mentioned, and from the screen shots, I didn’t see any FaviCons in the Bookmarks in the right panel and if it doesn’t have FaviCons, then it should be added.
In addition, I like to have some Sticky Notes (or Notes Box) type of feature so that users can add some notes/details for their bookmarks.
4-Do you think $25 (for a single license) is a fair price for Linkman Pro? If no, please specify the price you think is fair.
Well, I think, Yes, while keeping in view the features of this tool, especially its integration and synchronizing with multiple browsers.
Definitely programmer has done some hard work to make it useful and professional, so he/she deserve some reward (After all, I’m a programmer myself ;) ).
Thanks for such a nice offer :) and I hope for best now.
Best regards
Farrukh
Hi and thank you for the chance.
1. Have you ever used a bookmarks/favorites manager or synced bookmarks/favorites across multiple browsers or computers? If yes, please name the software/service you have used.
(Answer 1) Yes, Roboform which remembers passwords, but will also Go & Fill your bookmarked site via the URL
remembered in storage. Also, used Xmarks in Firefox. Both have been used in Home wired / wireless networks. And
both can be synced across the network.
2. What will be the main task you will use Linkman Pro for (sync bookmarks across browsers, sync bookmarks across computers, backup bookmarks, etc.)?
(Answer 2) All 3 uses. On my home network I have certain machines that have software the other machines don’t. In other words I have some very labor, CPU intensive software on my Desktop that when I need it I use my Desktop instead of my Laptop. However I have certain programs, sites etc.. that are common to all network machines and browsers that are also used corresponding with my intensive program use. Linkman Pro would definitely help with this situation for me instead of running from room to room.
3. Is there anything Outer Technologies can improve in Linkman Pro (bug fixes, more features, etc.)? If yes, please specify.
(Answer 3) Yes. Since the inclusion of the Intel procccesor in the Macs that allows you to use Windows on a Mac it is not uncommon to see a Mac as part of a network. This gives the user ability to use the Mac where the Mac is better suited for a certain job along with different browsers etc…, but still have access to Windows. If Linkman Pro could fit that Mac browser (Safari) and bookmarks into the network WOW!!!
4. Do you think $25 (for a single license) is a fair price for Linkman Pro? If no, please specify the price you think is fair.
(Answer 4) YES I believe so depending on the number of computers in your network would be covered. A few years ago if I saw it and needed it I bought it. Sometimes to be honest I never really needed it. I loved buying useful software. Nowadays…fixed income…it really has to be a necessity. I appreciate the work you do with this site. The intensive reviews you give…and for us that need it…the great software you give us. Thank you!…Stephen
1 ) FEBE, Xmarks and Zotero work for me (in Firefox only).
2) I would use Linkman Pro to sync bookmarks across different browsers/ computers and keep backups.
3) Compatibility with Safari and a LINUX edition would be good.
4) Considering my current options are FREE and serve me well, I think $10 (for a single license) might be more reasonable.
Have you ever used a bookmarks/favorites manager or synced bookmarks/favorites across multiple browsers or computers? If yes, please name the software/service you have used.
Yes. I have used XMarks before and also done syncing by exporting and importing. However, both methods are slow and cumbersome.
What will be the main task you will use Linkman Pro for (sync bookmarks across browsers, sync bookmarks across computers, backup bookmarks, etc.)?
The main work would be syncing between my portable and home versions of Firefox, and IE7.
Is there anything Outer Technologies can improve in Linkman Pro (bug fixes, more features, etc.)? If yes, please specify.
Linkman Pro is already extremely feature rich. An excellent program!
Do you think $25 (for a single license) is a fair price for Linkman Pro? If no, please specify the price you think is fair.
$25 is a bit too expensive in my opinion. Around $20 is a good choice, considering that there are so many features.
Well, I should want a license. I am an author.
Hi there. This sounds like a good solution to a problem I’ve started to perceive, as I don’t want to rely on Chrome, to avoid having to retrain my wife from IE, but I like using Chrome because of its speed on my old PC (from the XP era). Hopefully IE9 will close the gap sufficiently to revert to IE.
Have you ever used a bookmarks/favorites manager … No, but I have used Allwaysync for general file synchronisation to USB memory.
What will be the main task you will use Linkman Pro for … sync bookmarks across browsers
Is there anything Outer Technologies can improve in Linkman Pro (bug fixes, more features, etc.)? As I haven’t used it, it is difficult to tell. I am concerned that it might want to be a resident utility, whereas I prefer things I run specifically when I want them, and then close. I am also nervous about continuous changes to browsers, and whether they will be supported. And finally, I plan a migration to a new PC sometime soon. Will I be able to use my new license on the new PC? Re-reading the description, I am wondering whether this is a useful utility that has been bloated with features to attempt to drive it into a higher-priced market. If this is the intent, the developers should concentrate on corporate needs.
Do you think $25 (for a single license) is a fair price for Linkman Pro? Again, difficult to answer as I haven’t used anything similar. However, I think as a rule of thumb, I would consider this software as a ‘utility’, and as such I would not expect to pay more than 10UKP. 25USD must be approaching twice that, a price band that seems to me the category of ‘low end application’. As this software would not provide me with new functionality – I would use it just for moving bookmarks about - I would find this inappropriate. BTW I have a philosophy that it is better to get by inefficiently with a few tools than to install many tools with too much functionality to learn (and confuse with each other), and which may clash with each other. In this vein, context menu integration is usually a turn-off for me.
1. No, I have never used this kind of solution.
2. I would like to do it across computer.
3. I have never used it, but fixing bugs is always a good thing.
4. I am not sure regard the price, because if I need to purchase it for every computer that I want to sync with, it will be too much for me.
Thank for the opportunity.
Dror
1. No
2. Sync
3. No
4. No, $15
1. Have you ever used a bookmarks/favorites manager or synced bookmarks/favorites across multiple browsers or computers? If yes, please name the software/service you have used.
I used Firefox most of the time and managing my bookmarks in firefox. I used Xmark extension and their services to backup, restore, and sync in multiple computers or whatever computer I used.
2. What will be the main task you will use Linkman Pro for (sync bookmarks across browsers, sync bookmarks across computers, backup bookmarks, etc.)?
Backup my bookmarks and checking the link if the link is alive is my main task if I used Linkman Pro.
3. Is there anything Outer Technologies can improve in Linkman Pro (bug fixes, more features, etc.)? If yes, please specify.
I suggest to have a import function in Linkman Pro came in a text file (.txt). I have mannerism to save a link in notepad like a form of this:
hxxp://www.link1.com
hxxp://www.link2.com
If I put this in notepad, I hope it easily import it and arrange it in Linkman Pro.
4. Do you think $25 (for a single license) is a fair price for Linkman Pro? If no, please specify the price you think is fair.
It is great if this price is for 3 PC license. But $14.95 – $19.95 will be fare to a single license.
Have you ever used a bookmarks/favorites manager or synced bookmarks/favorites across multiple browsers or computers? If yes, please name the software/service you have used.
I used to use Powermarks until I went to a new computer and found that it went end-of-life a few years ago. I still have it on an old laptop, but haven’t used it in a long time. I remember it had incredible features and reviews for it were always great.
What will be the main task you will use Linkman Pro for (sync bookmarks across browsers, sync bookmarks across computers, backup bookmarks, etc.)?
I’m not sure of all the features, but would want to do the following:
sync bookmarks across computers
backup bookmarks
organize bookmarks such that I could find what I wanted very quickly
Search bookmarks for content and keywords or tags
Macro search capability
password protection/encryption of all or subset(s) of bookmarks
Have bookmarks to local folders/files, emails, Evernote entries
Check bookmark validity
Configurable printed reports
Ability to easily carry bookmarks on a USB drive
Is there anything Outer Technologies can improve in Linkman Pro (bug fixes, more features, etc.)? If yes, please specify.
Not sure. Don’t know exactly all it does. See previous question for what I would like in a bookmark manager.
Do you think $25 (for a single license) is a fair price for Linkman Pro? If no, please specify the price you think is fair.
Single license? As in a single computer? NO. For up to say 3-5 computers $25 might be fair depending how well it works and if it has the features I need. Most users these days have multiple computers . $100 for a 4 computer network for a product such as this would be extreme.
Ashraf , I am a donor and could really use a good bookmark manager.
Have you ever used a bookmarks/favorites manager or synced bookmarks/favorites across multiple browsers or computers? If yes, please name the software/service you have used.
Other than the built-in synchronization feature of Opera, I’ve never used such a thing, but I really like the cross-browser & cross-computer support — I use Chrome, SeaMonkey, Opera, Firefox and I.E. on all my computers and it would be nice to have all of my bookmarks available in each one of my browsers.
What will be the main task you will use Linkman Pro for (sync bookmarks across browsers, sync bookmarks across computers, backup bookmarks, etc.)?
As mentioned above, I would sync the bookmarks in all 5 of my browsers on all 5 of my PCs at home. It sounds like the perfect tool for that.
Is there anything Outer Technologies can improve in Linkman Pro (bug fixes, more features, etc.)? If yes, please specify.
It sounds pretty comprehensive to me, so I can’t think of anything at the moment.
Do you think $25 (for a single license) is a fair price for Linkman Pro? If no, please specify the price you think is fair.
I think $25 is a little high. I would prefer an under $20 price tag with a nice discount for multiple licenses.
Please enter me in : 30 free licenses of Linkman Pro!

No, I. have never used Linkman
Fact is I never really thought of sync all my book marks across all three machines. so it does sounds like a good idea to do.
1 Have you ever used a bookmarks/favorites manager or synced bookmarks/favorites across multiple browsers or computers? If yes, please name the software/service you have used.
Only ever used Xmarks
What will be the main task you will use Linkman Pro for (sync bookmarks across browsers, sync bookmarks across computers, backup bookmarks, etc.)?
Syncing bookmarks accoros browsers. Especialy as this sofware can sync Opera Browser as Xmarks cannot.
Is there anything Outer Technologies can improve in Linkman Pro (bug fixes, more features, etc.)? If yes, please specify.
Difficult to say as I have never used this program or heard of it before.
Do you think $25 (for a single license) is a fair price for Linkman Pro? If no, please specify the price you think is fair.
No it seems reasonably priced to me.
