- Have you ever used a video converter before (yes or no)? If yes, which video converter?
- What do you think of the price of SnowFox DVD & Video Converter ($49 but dotTechies can get it for $24.50 for a limited time)? Is it a fair price? Would you be willing to pay that much if you were in the market looking for such a software?

1.
Yes, I used both WinX DVDripper platinum and Wondershare. I liked WinX better because it worked flawlessly. It was also very fast compared to Wondershare. People tell me Wondershare produces better output qualities, but so far I mainly used them for making AVIz and watch them on laptop.
In the past I also worked with Flickr.
2.
I used WinX DVD converter and it worked fine. I wanted to try Wondershare, because it was recommanded on Raymond.CC, but the trial version has only limited functionality, so I don’t know.
3.
I would perhaps be willing to pay $ 24.50 for a full-fledged and versatile DVD & Video Converter that works problem-free, probably not $ 49.00, though some of Snow Fox competitors charge even higher prices.
4.
Everything can always be improved, but for the moment I am not aware of any missing features that might enhance the functionality of this product.
Would be good to have this program.
Thank you for the opportunity to win a free license.
I visited dotTech, after reading the review of FLV Mate on GOTD. The site is incredibly useful and clearly a labor love. I have visited dotTech several times before, but I have never left a comment.
I have used DVD neXt COPY Ultimate – V. 3.0.6.3, DVD neXt COPY Pro, 123 Copy DVD, Riptastic! and Sony Picture Utility. They all leave a lot to be desired. While browsing dotTech today, I ready about Format Factory and iWisoft Flash-SWF to Video Converter which I expect to try soon.
1. I have used DVDFab for ripping a DVD
2. I also have used DVDFab for video conversion (it will convert just about anything to anything).
I also find the free program MPEG Streamclip very handy in video editing work.
3. If SnowFox will do everything DVDFab will do, then $24.50 is a good price (DVDFab is quite expensive for all the modules. They charge for each different conversion type i.e. DVD to DVD, DVD to Mobile, etc. and just the DVD to DVD cost between $50 – $75 depending on how many years you get.
4. I looked at both charts carefully and it looks like all the features are there that one would need (at least that I would need).

What do you think of the price of SnowFox DVD & Video Converter ($49 but dotTechies can get it for $24.50 for a limited time)? Is it a fair price? Would you be willing to pay that much if you were in the market looking for such a software?
It is a bit too expensive for my liking, and $30~35 would be best, but considering that it has so many features, $49 is not bad.
Just by looking at the features list, are there are any features that you would like to be added to SnowFox DVD & Video Converter? If yes, please elaborate.
If any features were to be added, some more basic editing features would be best.
Thanks a lot Ashraf and dottech.org

Video editing.
Yes, I’ve used many DVD rippers. DVD Fab, Avi.net, DVDshrink to name but a few.
Yes I’ve used a video converter – mainly DVD Fab, but also SUPER and Format Factory. Recently I’ve been using TSmuxer a lot.
I wouldn’t pay that much for this software – even at $25 it seems too expensive from the feature list – though without trialling it this is probably a little unfair…
Rather specifically and probably uniquely, I would like the ability to OUTPUT to .m2TS for adding files to my Humax Foxsat HDR – also playable on PS3. Currently I have to go through mKV, then via TSmuxer which, though quite quick is a pain. I’ve been able to find nothing that actually outputs M2TS files directly.
This giveaway has now closed. No more entries will be accepted; winners will be announced soon inshAllah.
I have been looking for a way to convert camera video to something I can put on the website.
