Email article

Thanks Ashraf for this great freebie. I am glad now that I am able to receive emails from dotTech. Have a wonderful day!
Greetings, Ashraf! (And thanks, too, Sascha) It’s always nice to see another freebie Burning Studio version out of Ashampoo. I’ve been a fan since version 7 or 8 – can’t really recall – and currently use v.10. Fast, easy to use, and a lot smaller footprint than Nero, which I gave up on after v.6.6. I’ll park this one for installation where I need it, which is bound to happen eventually!
Very nice~
Thanks!
Hi Ashraff. Thanks for passing this information and the detailed instructions on obtaining this version. I have been a paid user of this product for a year or two, but hadn’t unpgraded to version 10 yet. I was waiting for one of their $10 sales. I missed their last one. This will do me fine for quite awhile.
Thanks!
Thanks a lot Ashraf :-))
You’re the best buddy!
I ended up uninstalling the software without even trying it. When my password was rejected I was redirected to a page all in German, with no understandable links to re-register. If the vendor wants US customers they should have a site in English, sorry! It’s not worth my time having to find a translator.
Thanks Ashraf! Lost this one with upgrade to Win7.
I’m very happy to have it back again!
Thanks Ashraf (and Sascha) for this opportunity. And thanks for the detailed instructions. After logging in on my Ashampoo account (I am an Ashampoo customer),I directly got two e-mails in my postbox: 1. an e-mail with the confirmation link, which I did not have to use, and 2. an e-mail with the license key (Freischaltcode). I could even change the language in this program in my mother language Dutch via Settings > Languages. Great!
I wil use this burning program on an old pc. It wil replace Nero 6, that gave me a lot of trouble.
@Karen Stimson:
The Google Toolbar has a Translate button. VERY useful! It translates the whole page instantly at the touch of a button. Really quite amazing….
I was waiting for http://www.chip.de.. and waiting and waiting, and then from yours Free Ashampoo Burning Studio 2010! (Sep 24 09) there was no problem to download ABS2010A (in english) from promo page http://www.computerbild.de.. And following your instructions in this post everything is OK. Thank you
Thanks Ashraf!
Which are the differences between Burning Studio 2010 and Burning Studio 2010 Advanced ? Thanx.
Does anyone know what the differences are between this version and BurningStudio9?
Ashraf,
I just bought an external Blu-ray burner so I could make high-def slideshows of my photos, and to be able to backup my photos.
The burner is great but the included software is Just Awful.
I remembered that the Power2Go software included with my HP desktop had an icon for creating Blu-ray data disks. When I clicked on it, it asked me to spend $70 to upgrade it so the icon would do something.
I checked here and found this program. It seems very well designed and logical. So many backup programs can’t handle spanned output volumes. Ridiculous!
Thanks for the excellent instructions. The Hyperwords add-on to Firefox does a great job of translating, but your step-by-step instructions saved a lot of time.
Thanks again for the excellent job!

It’s all good. But I agree with Karen. They should have a English version too.
@Karen
@Jackie
They do have an excellent English-language .com website. However this offer is via their German website.
@Karen Stimson:
If you have an aversion to Toolbars (such as the Google Toolbar), there is an extension for Firefox called gTranslator.
I have it, and all there is, is a tiny icon on the bottom right of the status bar, which you click to translate the web page.
It uses Google’s translate, without the baggage of a Toolbar.
@Jackie: They do.
@RobCr: Firefox has an excellent translator add-in called Hyperwords.
@DuanePDX:
It appears to offer many functions.However I would only have the need to translate a whole web page.
With Hyperwords, you have to work out which chunk of text that you need to translate (‘Catch 22′), then select that text,.
Then choose Translate from Hyperwords menu.
Whereas with gTranslator there is no ‘Catch 22′.
Just one click translates everything.
Got
thanks Ashraf
Thank.It was easy and quick.
Not sure on this one but can it burn AVI,MP4 etc. files to disc ???
Thanks, Jamster Mc
How does this differ from Ashampoo Burning Studio 10, if at all?
Per the Chip.de site (Google translation):
Compared to “Ashampoo Burning Studio 10″ offers the full version license offered here, “Ashampoo Burning Studio 2010″ no support for creating video DVDs. Furthermore, no slideshow editor is available.
Hi Ashraf, too many doubts by everybody too little time to answer all of them. Anyway, if you have any clue about all these versions Ashampoo ALWAYS has around, please enrich us! Ashampoo’s site not even mentions this Advanced product. I have ABS2010 v 10.0.3. Although this is not the “Advanced”, still its version v9.24 is lower so all I could guess is that the one I have is newer, better and more complete, correct?
thanks in advance
