dotTech Exclusive: Free EASEUS Partition Master Professional Edition! [24-hours only]

Update: This giveaway has now ended. Please subscribe to dotTech (e-mail | Twitter | RSS) so you can know about future giveaways before they expire!

Today dotTech teams up with CHENGDU YIWO Tech Development Co., Ltd. to bring dotTechies a world renowned and respected partition management tool for free: EASEUS Partition Master Professional Edition!

EASEUS Partition Master is a popular name when it comes to partition management tools for Windows because it is hassle-free and gets the job done; I have been reviewing the software since v3.5 and I can personally attest to the quality of the program. (And, as we all know, I can be a very picky reviewer.)

EASEUS Partition Master comes in five editions: Home Edition, Professional Edition, Server Edition, Unlimited Edition, and Technician Edition. Professional Edition, Server Edition, Unlimited Edition, and Technician Edition are all paid software; they have all the same features – the differences lies in supported operating system, licensing, and upgrades. Home Edition is, of course, freeware (non-commercial use only); it has all the features of Professional Edition except Home Edition cannot create bootable recovery CD/DVD and Home Edition does not support 64-bit machines. Here is an official chart (created by the developer) that shows the exact differences between all five editions:

(Click on the chart to view it in full size.)

Today’s freebie, as I already mentioned, is of EASEUS Partition Master Professional Edition – a $39.95 value. Here are the main features of EASEUS Partition Master Professional Edition as per the developer:

If you would like to learn about EASEUS Partition Master Professional Edition in more detail, please read my comprehensive full review on the software.

That said, to get EASEUS Partition Master Professional Edition for free, simply download and install it from the following link; there is no need to register it (it comes “pre-registered” per se). Free updates are not part of this offer (i.e. you won’t get free updates) and you can only download EASEUS Partition Master Professional Edition within the 24-hour time frame for this giveaway. However, you can install/reinstall EASEUS Partition Master Professional Edition whenever you want as long as you keep the installation file safe. Enjoy!

Version being given out for free: v6.1.1

Free updates: No

Supported OS: Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Win7 (32-bit) and Windows XP/Vista/Win7 (64-bit)

Download size: About 40 MB

Special note: This giveaway is available for 24 hours – from August 10, 2010 00:00 PST to August 11, 2010 05:00 PST. After this 24-hour time frame you will no longer be able to download this software for free.

UPDATE: The giveaway had been extended for 5 hours because of the unexpected downtime we faced (our servers are being hammered!) All files are hosted on a remote server now to prevent dotTech from going down again. Please do not directly link to these files! Directly linking to the files is stealing money from dotTech because you would use bandwidth that we paid for without visiting dotTech.

Note: This promotion is available to everyone – everyone may get it for free. However, this is a promotion. Please do not upload the installation file to any other website, server, file hosting services, etc. and please do not directly link to the download. If you want to spread information about this offer, you may link to this article by providing a permalink (alternative permalink) to your audience. If you respect our wishes, we will be able to continue to bring you great freebies. If you don’t, we have no incentive to continue our promotions and they may stop.

  2. MichaelC

Thank-you once again.  I visit here often to read your GOTD reviews, comment seldom, but always appreciate your thorough reviews.
I have Easeus Partition Master Pro version 5.0.1, and just downloaded this new version.  Great promotion!
Also based on your review, I decided to try the Magnifying Glass Pro from GOTD today.
    Keep up the great work!

  3. Mike

Well, this nice offering saves me from adding a comment in yesterday’s review of the software here, that rather than paying for the software, one should wait for a free offer for it, either at GOTD or here …

@dan: Yep, that is fine. I was simply telling chinaguy to not share the file with others (i.e. don’t upload it onto a file downloading service, give it to friends, etc.) Using it for yourself is fine.

  5. dan

I plan to save this file and install it at a later time but your reply #6 to chinaguy has me confused; I downloaded the file and will only install it on my PC in a few weeks when I can test it – is that OK?

  6. Mike

Downloaded and installed just fine. However, it will not create a bootable CD. Program recognized my drive and runs thru the creation process but the disk is always blank. I’ve tried CD-R and CD-RW disks. Has this feature been crippled in this version?
BTW, I want to add my thanks for your site. Keep it up!!!

  7. winnie

Hi, thanks for giving us the opportunity to use this software. I’ve tried to download it from the given link but it gives me a database connection error in mediafire, anyway this can be reuploaded? thanks!

  8. jumbi

And a question please that will save me a lot of time searching and perhaps you already know.

Which of the free tools (if any), supports directly hardward raid from boot CD??

    (thanks in advance)

  9. lol768

Thanks! Looks like it could come in handy – I am thinking of shrinking my Linux partition and giving more space to my windows (If I have chosen FAT for my ubuntu partition will this still work? One of my other computers has an ext3 type partition (default linux one I think) will this support that?)

THANK YOU ASHRAF! i had got this software from GOTD a little while back but lost is due to power surge. lost alot to be honest.
there are 2 sites i check every day, and GOTD. two best on line.

    AOA Ashraf,
Thanks for this wonderful program. Finally, you are back with more giveaways and reviews. We all know that you are very picky/precise reviewer and like/support quality software only. That is why we love and visit dotTech several times a day to get reviews/giveaway/warning/comparisons/news (from respected Ashraf only).
BTW, I was searching for good partition program for repartitioning my data drives. I was considering Paragon offers. Thanks GOD! Ashraf provided this giveaway timely (at least for me). Currently downloading…

@Kakym: Glad you like it! You are welcome.

@Steve: Honestly I don’t know what is wrong – it is working fine as per my tests! What browser are you using? Can you try downloading with a different browser? I promise it has nothing to do with your nationality =).

    Author/Mr. Boss

    @amozai: You are welcome!

@chinaguy: I am afraid sharing the file after the giveaway period has ended is not allowed. You can use it for yourself, but please don’t share it. Anyone that wants this giveaway should grab it within the 24-hours.

  14. chinaguy

Oh sorry. You did. You were right. I did read a lot of it but not all. So it would be possible for me to give this to my friend after the period is over if necessary right? I plan to email him a link to this article but if he needs it later but didn’t get it would it be okay?
