AOA Ashraf,
Thanks for posting info about giveaway. I have got my serial. I am really enjoying quality giveaways. Hope to see more…
Regards.
@Boyfriend: WAS. I got a big giveaway in the pipeline, so stay tuned!
I registered with them and have been waiting over 6 hours for a reg. code from them.
I was warned they are slow to reply.
The license key received in 5 minutes to my gmail ID after registering.
Thanks a lot Ashraf,
I get the registration code properly and downloaded and installed and registered very well.
Thanks agian
Thanks a lot, Ashraf.
It’s a good one, I’ve used previous versions before.
Thankssss.
O&O has quality soft generally, it should be good.
A comparison review would be welcomed in the future :-)
Danke für dsa tolle Proggy
Danke für das tolle Proggy
I wonder if UnErase 6 also installs a service and needs a loopback connection as well, as with O&O’s defrag utility. Can anyone who has UnErase installed kindly check please?
Don’t forget to get the Users manual at:
http://www.oo-software.com/en/docs/usersguide/ooue6.pdf
Thanks Ashraf.
Got the key and installed within 5 mins. Haven’t tested the software yet.
@Jumbi – thanks for the link to the users manual.
Goodday,
Did all the above, but nothing so far.

@Cyberski: Check your spam box in your email – might be the problem, because these arrived pretty quickly.
O&O used to be a bigger player in the shareware market than they seem to be now, at least afaict. Like Ashampoo, they will send you email offers for discounts on their other software, once you register. (unsubscribing is simple enough, though). I have no real complaints with their software, there are just others that I personally prefer. Still, free is free and I grabbed a copy of this to file away for someone I know who is not tech savvy.
Works as intended, will come in handy for the college semester where im prone to accidentally deleting files.
Thanks Asraf
Hey Ashraf…how does this compare with the freeware DiskDigger?
@OldElmerFudd: I did check spam and was not in there. I re-registered again about an hour ago and still nothing. I’ve also just registered with a different email addy so we’ll see if anything shows up there.
Be careful with O&O. Giving them your email address puts you on a spam email list of theirs, and they won’t take you off. I’ve tried 6 times using their unsubscribe web page, and 4 emails directed to sales, support, info, etc with no luck so far. Very NOT impressed!!

@Giovanni: Disk Digger? I never heard of it. Paid programs usually dig deeper have more options for data recovery. Perhaps freeware solutions are limited in programming due to proprietary unlicensable undelete algorithms perhaps?
Nope. The new disk digger version is not usable in the free version. So turned to payware in my opinion. You have to click away a stupid nag screen on every file you recover – unusable if you want to recover a full hard drive with billions of files. Fortunately the old nag-free version is still available for download.
I don´t think such “unlicensable algorithms” exist.
Have a look at photorec. This free program recovers a lot of files using algorithms.

With simply deleted files i had good results with the old freeware restoration. Needs admin rights under Win7 (right click – run as admin) or crahses trying to recover files. Maybe i also try diskdigger next time.
Ashraf,
Firstly, thanks for your efforts in supplying these programs.
As registration email had not arrived by the 19th, I emailed Tech Support. Very shortly after that the email arrived, followed by an email asking if it had. What a pleasant surprise. Especially compared to the vast majority of ecommerce.
Thanks for all the various giveaways…
Mm, registered twice, two quite different email addresses, one already ‘known’ to O&O – no response as at Sat 8:00 a.m.
