How to install F.lux on iOS 8.4 TaiG Jailbreak (Beta) [Guide]

F.luxWhile most of us love rooting Android for keeping up with software and firmware updates that OEMs and phone carrier networks don’t push out quick enough, those on the Apple side of the fence love jailbreaking thanks to Cydia and its abundance of tweaks available. With Cydia tweaks, we can “tweak” the current OS and reveal some new features. One of the most popular Cydia tweaks out there period is the F.lux jailbreak tweak.

If you are already running the iOS 8.3 or iOS 8.4 TaiG jailbreak for Window and Mac, you might be wanting to find out which Cydia tweaks are available. It takes time for the third-party developers who create the Cydia tweaks to update them for the new Apple software releases which is why you cannot find each tweak available right after jailbreaking.  Cydia acts as a platform for these tweaks only. Thankfully, there is a way we can install the F.lux tweak for those running the taiG iOS 8.4 jailbreak and we’ll show you how after the drop.

While the new F.lux for iOS 8.4 is still in its beta stages, we aren’t predicting any major bugs since it’s only adjusting the display. For those who don’t already know, F.lux is a wonderful tweak for people who suffer from eye strain. Apple already have a feature that adjusts the screen brightness accordingly to the amount of light in your room — similar to what some TV’s have these days. However, the iPhone doesn’t adjust the screen color temperature. There’s no such thing as a cool screen or a warm screen for iPhone just yet, and that’s what F.lux does.
