The worst of scumware, undoubtedly, are loggers. Whether it is a keylogger, or a different type of logger, these scumware have the potential to turn your world upside down by transmitting private information – such as credit card numbers, bank account information, social security number, etc. – to malicious people who will, without a second thought, use your information to their advantage. To help fight some of this, I have discussed KeyScrambler before, a software that is effectively an anti-keylogger. Zemana AntiLogger is a security software which takes that anti-keylogger aspect of KeyScrambler and expands on it by adding in various different anti-logging features to protect users from not only keyloggers, but many other different type of “logging “scumware.
Here is a detailed list of what Zemana AntiLogger can do, as per the developer:
While I can’t personally vouch for Zemana AntiLogger’s performance (because dotTech has not reviewed it), on paper Zemana AntiLogger looks very impressive. Furthermore, another noteworthy aspect of Zemana AntiLogger is its ability to work side-by-side with other security software. The developer has compiled a list of security software Zemana AntiLogger is “compatible” with:
As you can see, according to the developer, Zemana AntiLogger works with most popular security software.
Usually Zemana AntiLogger would cost $34 (USD) per year. However, users can get 1 year of Zemana AntiLogger for free!

When I installed Zemana it caused a BSOD.

Seems to be OK now and its up and running after two restarts had to go back to the promotion facebook page and get the key again Though.
otherwise seems to be operating fine.
I had tried this out about a week ago and had no problems like this but my system is 9 years old and a bit touchy with XP SP3 all up to date.
@Ashraf: Some people just don’t want to be in facebooks’s network. Add me to that list ;)
@DJ: Me and you both. I only maintain a Facebook account for dotTech and freebies.
Thanks Man. I realy loved that product. Keeps me some what happy and partial gets the feeling of safety. And then, how many computers can I install this license on?
This program does not seem to be working on my 64-bit Windows 7 machine. I tested it by downloading the Zemana Simulation Test at http://www.zemana.com/anti-keylogger.aspx, but the program did not catch the keylogging. I then installed it on my 32-bit Windows Vista machine and it worked fine.
Just saw this giveaway at techno360 where they supply the license key (universal key for facebook) Also noticed it will not run on windows 7 as seven has builtin keylogger which wont let others run.
Thanks Ashraf for the informative post.. decided to give it a try since it works along side of my Keyscrambler Prem and Nod32.. funny thing is it doesnt show Online Armor in the list of Works/Dont work :( but it shows works fine with Comodo and Outpost.. so taking the chance it will work ;)… so far installed and shows working fine on my system win7 x64
@Kevin i have win7 x64 and it seems to be working ok for me.. not sure what is going on wiht yours
/cheers
@zugshad:
Did you test it? It installed and is running perfectly, it just won’t detect keyloggers.
@Kevin: You’re right, I installed it on my 64-bit laptop, and tested it with the simulation test. No detection at all, so I guess it’s only for 32-bit systems.
@a simple happy man: Thanks for the information. That is what I will do.
Just a heads up – You can obtain multiple licenses by logging into facebook with different browsers, firefox, I.E., Opera, etc. I was able to obtain a different code with each browser under the same facebook account.
@Ashraf: Add Me To Your List As I Just Visit FB For Some Games To Play Like Mafia Wars & Participate In Such Promotions To Be Able To Get A Valid License For Such Programs.
And No Relation With Facebook.
Thanks Ashraf. We can find so many tools, especially free ones on your site. Thanks!
@Shueygal: You are not alone in feeling uncomfortable about using FB. I’ve had an account for years but rarely use it. Mostly I now use it for promotions like these.
What I would like to know is does this work with Win 7 32 bit or not?
After reading all the previous comments it isn’t clear to me that it does. Some say yes, but have they tested it to see if it really does or not, or is it just simply running but doesn’t recognize keyloggers as others have pointed out with Win 7 64 bit.
Better than the time limited Zemana, go get the always free Spyshelter:
http://www.spyshelter.com/download.html
Note: The free version is 32 bit, but they do offer a shareware (and little better) version for 64 bit windows. And there is also a test tool which can be combined with Zemanas, for efficiency reference.
I strongly suggest Ashraf, to place it into your famous free security article.
Installed fine, stated working, but didn’t work with their test app or the spyshelter test app jumbi mentioned. Therefore, I uninstalled. Why don’t they state that it does nothing on a 64bit system (I have Win 7 64bit)! Ashraf, you should update your aticle to state that it doesn’t appear to do any protecting on a 64 bit system.
Am I hallucinating ?
Is this the genuine dottech.org website ?
Getting a security application by clicking a Facebook LIKE is as ludicrous as downloading an Antivirus application from a Warez site.
If you want additional reasons for avoiding like the plague you will get “About 19,400,000 results” when you Google this combination of three words :-
Facebook like scam
I joined Facebook so my wife could see our grand children’s photos,
and my first action was to set all my privacy for maximum protection.
Twice over Facebook has increased its exploitation of members by adding new privacy settings with defaults that increased how much of me they could sell to whoever/whatever was willing to buy me.
The third time I went through the tedious process to get my account closed.
They told me it would be suspended for one month and if I did not return in that month it would then be permanently closed.
Six months later and because I know that nothing stays the same on Facebook I suspect they could have changed that 1 month waiting period – perhaps I have to wait another 9 years before it is safe for me to visit and see whether my account is deleted.
I do not trust Facebook morality
I will not trust Facebook LIKE.
Alan
@jumbi: Thanks I will look into it.
@johnd: Good suggestion; I have updated the article.
@alan: While I agree Facebook has a vested interest in not protecting your privacy. However, I don’t think its fair to dismiss this promotion simply because it is done via Facebook. The promotion is for a genuine security program and is genuinely being offered by the developer. Anyone that already has a Facebook account simply needs to “Like” their page (they can “Unlike” later if they want). Anyone that doesn’t have a Facebook can create a “throw-away” account if they want the offer.
Many people don’t understand Facebook is only “dangerous” if you enter your real information in it. Even when I was on Facebook (I quit Facebook long ago and only maintain an account for dotTech now) I didn’t put all my personal information on it. Even at that time – before Facebook’s privacy woes were revealed – I thought people were fools to enter such personal information such as birthday, etc. If Facebook doesn’t know much – or anything – about you, they don’t do crap.
If you don’t want to participate in Facebook that is fine; you don’t have to. But that doesn’t mean this promotion is scam.
I downloaded and installed and registered the anti-logger.
I downloaded and tested the simulation test programs. Anti-logger didn’t see any of them. I am unsure if it is because they are signed, a virus logger disabled it, if it anti-logger just doesn’t work, or if something else has gone wrong.
I am using Windows 7 x64
I had fun with the recursion of the screen logger (I am easily amused).
The web cam logger crashed itself shortly after starting.
I’m planning on downloading and installing this, I’ve been looking for a protection software like this. But before I could, could someone running it (preferably on Windows XP) tell me how much memory it seems to use?
No need for users reports, Zemana claims officially that 64 bit is not supported due to Windows core limitations, I remember it clearly from last year offer. I suppose they will manage someday…
Spyshelter on the other hand has a paid 64 bit version and a free 32 bit version.
Facebook tactic should not be accused because small software firms need publicity and potential customers.
Tip.: if you use “like” and after getting the serial you “unlike” and then use another browser or another PC (or manage cookies) with the same facebook account and follow the procedure of like-unlike, you can get more new serials for your other PCs or friends!
That’s the drawback of facebook policy, they can’t control it :-)
Thnx for the promo. I installed in on a vista 32-bit Acer laptop with Commodo Internet security Premium – Threatfire – Peerblock and Keyscrambler…
And it works fine… Dont use laptop for anything other then surfing, and writing documents at school. But still im a whore for free software :P
@Ashraf
I accept that Zemana is not malware,
but it is keeping bad company by using Facebook.
My son created my Facebook account so my wife could see photos he posted.
Unfortunately he followed the Facebook rules that demanded accurate name and birthdate.
I falsified all that I could edit, but for all I know they still have my name and date of birth in their archives, and can still sell it to anyone. I do not trust Facebook management and hope they go to prison.
Regards
Alan

- SPYSHELTER FREE EDITION:
System protection (HIPS)
Anti keylogger
AntiScreenCapture
AntiClipboardCapture
ZEMANA ANTILOGGER
* Anti-SSL Logger (First in World)
Protects all operations that use SSL protocol.
* Anti-WebCam Logger (First in World)
Prevents any harmful applications from monitoring your Web Camera.
* Anti-Key Logger
Prevents all harmful applications from logging your keystrokes.
* Anti-ClipBoard Logger
Prevents harmful applications from taking snapshots of your clipboard.
* Anti-Screen Logger
Prevents harmful applications from capturing pictures and images of your computer screen.
* System Defence
Prevents any harmful applications that can effect your system.
So man you can’t compare the two programs because ZEMANA ANTILOGGER provides much more key features than SPYSHELTER FREE EDITION.
The only comparison you can make is between ZEMANA ANTILOGGER and SPYSHELTER PREMIUM VERSION (€ 25) but since ZEMANA ANTILOGGER is FREE for a limited time I can’t see any reason to spend money for a Software that more or less gives you the same degree of protection against bloody keyloggers, unless you are on Windows 7 64 bit of course!!
And anyway, if I were you I’d install this FREE APP:
http://info.prevx.com/downloadsafeonline.asp
Unlike ZEMANA ANTILOGGER, with this FREE APP you are protected while banking online even if your PC is already infected by virus and spyware (keyloggers, trojans, backdoors etc….) as long as SafeOnline’s settings are on Default Max for HTTPS sites!
Trust me dudes… SafeOnline does more than ZEMANA ANTILOGGER because of the Anti-Malware component behind Prevx SafeOnline.
THE PROOF OF THE PUDDING IS IN THE EATING….LOL!
Enjoy!!
Cheers from Italy!!
