Two weeks ago dotTech and iSkysoft Studios ran a promotion of iSkysoft Video Converter. Now we are back; but this time we bring you iSkysoft Studios’ flagship product iSkysoft iMedia Converter!
Despite what the name may imply, iSkysoft iMedia Converter is not a program aimed at Apple products. While dotTech has never formally reviewed iSkysoft iMedia Converter, based on my past experiences with iSkysoft Studios/Wondershare Software video & audio converting and DVD ripping products, and the overwhelmingly positive comments made by dotTechies in the last promotion, I will say this: One would have to be a bloody fool to miss out on grabbing iSkysoft iMedia Converter while it is available for free. In comparison to several other media converters, iSkysoft iMedia Converter is EXCELLENT! One of the many things about it that impressed me, is that I needed to extract audio from an mp4 video file, to an mp3–only iSkysoft was able to do so without audio distortion.
AARGH, yet another developer who requires you to let them take your email address hostage in exchange for giving you a copy of their software! I HATE it when these developers demand your email because I get so sick of having my email being so flooded with advertising that it becomes a major undertaking just to wade through it all and attempt to ferret out the few emails that are worthy of actually reading
Some of these developers clearly DO sell their email lists, judging by the increase in spam advertising emails after submitting my email address as part of giveaway conditions.
Not only that, I’ve also had a number of giveaways later revert back to trials withint a few weeks or months and start constantly running their nagware .
Just HOW MANY DIFFERENT BRAND NAMES DO WONDERSHARE MARKET UNDER ANYWAY? ARE THE PRODUCTS FROM ALL THEIR ALIASES, ALIKE?
If they are alike, why doesn’t Wondershare stick to one name because there’s no logical reason to install things from diffrerent brands if these things are actually all the same. HD space is precious enough on laptops as it is. Laptops are so stingy with HD space, this is Vista and has only 120 GIG on it and it’s constantly a problem trying to make enough space on the HD to have on it what I want on it and try to keep at least 1 Gig of space free for things to be able to run without crashing because of lack of space for their paging files, etc. And of course Windows Updates always want to consume more and more of HDD space all the time too.
