Recently Starbucks launched a campaign where they give out one free iOS app every week. To get the free apps, all you need to do is walk into a Starbucks and grab one of the promotion cards. (They should be near the counter — presumably to guilt you into purchasing something instead of being a freeloader.) Each card will have a unique redemption code which you can throw into iTunes and discount the app in question to $0.

There are reports that this is available in Starbucks stores in the USA only but I cannot confirm or deny this. Also, I don’t own any iDevices so I have no personal experience with any of this but I do know this works because I know someone who has done it. Since I have no personal experience with this, I don’t know if these freebies are for all iOS devices or iPhone only. (Please provide feedback in the comments ^[3] below, iOS’ers!)
