Happy New Year

As much as I would like to type up a witty New Year’s greeting, I feel the best thing to say right now is: Thank you. Thank you for all the support each and every one of you have provided over the past year, despite the ups and downs. dotTech wouldn’t be here without all you loyal dotTechies.

Being just over three years old now, I predict 2012 will be make or break for dotTech. 2012 will either see dotTech flourish into a tech bahamut (and in the process allowing me to make dotTech my day job, which would be awesome) or it will flicker away into the digital abyss, remembered as the website that could.

Happy New Year everybody!

Ashraf – I’ve been a fan of yours & dotTech for some time. I especially appreciate your (and your colleagues) informative reviews and your alerts to *free* software. I’ve learned so much from you and from all those who comment. Thanks & Happy New Year to you & Everyone who comes here! :)

It is just as important for us readers to thank you for providing such great content, and still consistently getting better over the years. I can’t tell you how much I’ve learned from here. Have a Happy New Year!!

Ashraf – thanks to you (and dotTech), I have learned so much, and have benefited from your detailed advice and helpful directions for so many products! Thank you for your efforts, and your honest reviews. May 2012 be the best year yet for you!

@Everyone: Thanks! Happy New Year to everyone!

Here’s hoping for the best for dotTech. If I were able to make this my day job (i.e. spend more time maintaining dotTech) that would ensure better review, freebies, and more content! It all really comes down to the revenue this website makes, if its enough to not have a “real” day job.

Whoa!…IF dotTech makes it thru 2012? How about some advertising or ask for donations. This is a great site. It (Ashraf?) has an honesty and technical sense about it that keeps people interested. This place is sorta like Consumer Reports….trustworthy. Thanks Asharaf and all others. Hope the year is good to you all.

    Happy New Year Ashraf.
A heart felt thank you for all you do. I have learned what to do as well as what NOT to do.
Dot tech is my go to tech site above all others and I do not want it to go away. So let us dot techies know what we can do to keep that from happening.

Look forward to the 2012 articles.

And to ALL DotTechies and free grabbies and of course not forgetting our critics who keeps Ashraf N Co on their toes.
Also Ashraf; you will make DotTech your day job this 2012 – assured . Pls google Raj Khera graduation speech he did recently at Uni of Maryland for the dig.

    Happy New Year Ashraf.
I have often contemplated the hours you must have put in to build Dottech into what it is today and the time you must still spend to maintain the high standards you strive for.
Thank you from some one who has and still does benefit from your efforts.

    Ashraf,

A very Happy New Year to you! Thanks so much for all of your hard work; I can’t begin to count the number of times that I’ve benefited from your advice. Trust that 2012 will be a great year for you and for dotTech.org, and I wish you much success. May all of your dreams come true!

    Happy New Year Ashraf!

Today I got a little New Year’s present of my own… my first Android handset! It’s a Samsung Vibrant (T-Mo SGS) unlocked and running on AT&T. This means all of the awesome of Android with none of the drawbacks of data plans!
