As much as I would like to type up a witty New Year’s greeting, I feel the best thing to say right now is: Thank you. Thank you for all the support each and every one of you have provided over the past year, despite the ups and downs. dotTech wouldn’t be here without all you loyal dotTechies.
Being just over three years old now, I predict 2012 will be make or break for dotTech. 2012 will either see dotTech flourish into a tech bahamut (and in the process allowing me to make dotTech my day job, which would be awesome) or it will flicker away into the digital abyss, remembered as the website that could.
Happy New Year everybody!

@Everyone: Thanks! Happy New Year to everyone!
Here’s hoping for the best for dotTech. If I were able to make this my day job (i.e. spend more time maintaining dotTech) that would ensure better review, freebies, and more content! It all really comes down to the revenue this website makes, if its enough to not have a “real” day job.
Ashraf – thanks to you (and dotTech), I have learned so much, and have benefited from your detailed advice and helpful directions for so many products! Thank you for your efforts, and your honest reviews. May 2012 be the best year yet for you!
It is just as important for us readers to thank you for providing such great content, and still consistently getting better over the years. I can’t tell you how much I’ve learned from here. Have a Happy New Year!!
Ashraf – I’ve been a fan of yours & dotTech for some time. I especially appreciate your (and your colleagues) informative reviews and your alerts to *free* software. I’ve learned so much from you and from all those who comment. Thanks & Happy New Year to you & Everyone who comes here! :)
Happy New Year Ashraf, also I wish you a good life, luck and succes ! ! !
…and I don’t forget all the members-dotties, all of them: happy, happy new 2012.
Grtz from Belgium,
Guy,
I would be lost without you dotTech.
Best wishes for a prosperous & pleasant New Year 2012
