Kingston DataTraveler 100 4GB Flash Drive for $6.99 flat!

Usually I just post deals where you can attain something for free, like commercial software. However, I was surfing SlickDeals.net and came across a post that mentioned this deal and I thought it is worth mentioning.

You can get a Kingston DataTraveler 100 4GB Flash Drive for $6.99 from Newegg.com. Shipping is free (unless you are in AK, HI or PR) and tax is only in certain states. This flash drive is a slider, so you don’t have to worry about losing the cap.

Now I have seen 4 GB flash drivers for cheaper before, such as at Frys where a couple of months back it was free after rebates, but never have I seen a name brand slider 4 GB flash drive for this cheap. I am considering buying it and if anyone is in the market for one, this could be a good pickup. However, don’t expect this to be the best of the best because it is not Kingston’s top of the line – it is the consumer brand. Also, I am not sure on the read/write speeds on this flash drive, but I will post if i find out.

You can find the flash drive deal here [1].
