There are many apps in the App Store that drop their prices to free everyday. Finding only the best to download is the hard part. I searched through the many freebies and picked out the best apps for you to download. Hand picked and free for a limited time, what could be better!

Blokus is a great board game originally created by Mattel Inc.. Gameloft has created a version of the board game on iPhone/iPod and iPad. Gameloft is a very well know game developer in the iOS gaming community and has many well known hits such as Modern Combat, Asphalt, and N.O.V.A. The game Blockus is a very interesting game. You start out with pieces – almost like puzzle pieces, and the point is to either get rid of all your pieces on the board, or score tho most points. The catch of the game is the pieces can only touch the corners of your other pieces already on the board. It may sound very confusing as I am trying to explain it to the best of my ability, but best bet is to try it yourself. The game is very fun and can be played with friends locally or online. It is a game of strategy and mind bending fun. The winning strategy: Block your opponents so they cannot add anymore blocks on the board! I saw Blokus was free today, and I have always wanted to play the game since I saw the board game at the store. I had no idea Blokus HD was free as well. I’ll have to download these apps later! :)
@Robert: Me too, I have heard a lot about this game and actually for the first time tried it out today……and loved it. I suggest to just buy both versions, even of you don’t have both devices XD! Thats what I did
@PCbasics: That is precisely what I am going to do by downloading both versions. Kinda like the ones you had in the past with having both versions. I know one day I will get an iPad, but it might take some time! :)
By the way, I missed out on a few apps since they must have changed from free to pay after midnight EDT. No problem. I’m sure it will be free again some time. :)
