Awkward Turtle

Ever have one of those awkward moments in conversations where neither you or the person(s) you are talking with have anything to say? Awkward Turtle is an app that attempts to help ease those awkward moments by providing you with random facts that might help spur the conversation. In total Awkward Turtle provides 150 random facts that you can use to try to break the silence and get a conversation going again.

Tower Defense: Lost Earth

Tower Defense: Lost Earth is a tower defense game for Android. The back story to the game is Earth has run out of natural resources and you are looking for an alternative planet. In this search you land on an alien planet where you must use towers and special weapons to fight off waves of enemy aliens coming at you.

Tower Defense: Lost Earth  have three modes of play, “Campaign”, “Challenge”, and “Special Missions”. As you progress in “Campaign”, you unlock “Challenge” and “Special Missions” levels. In “Campaign” you initially start off with one tower and as you progress to other levels you get more towers, with a total of nine tower types in the game. However, you can only use up to six tower types for a particular mission. Other than towers, you have the ability to use “special abilities” (e.g. poison cloud or nuclear strike) to protect yourself from the oncoming aliens. Every mission you complete earns you diamonds which are used to purchase temporary boosts; if you don’t want to earn your diamonds, you can make in-app purchases to purchases diamonds in bulk. As you progress further in “Campaign” you face new aliens with a total of ten different alien types. “Campaign” has a total of forty levels at the moment.

Tower Defense: Lost Earth on Play Store

Textgram is an app that allows users to create text graffiti and share the graffiti on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or any other app that accepts image inputs such as e-mail, messaging, etc. The graffitis are text-only and can be as long as 200 characters with the text being either left, center, or right aligned with the ability to underline. Once you have typed the graffiti you want, you select the graffiti image type you want (there are ten types to pick from at the time of this writing) and then share the graffiti via any app that accepts image inputs. Take note you need Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter apps installed to share the graffitis via those social networks.
