Google Now shows off its brilliance in a series of 47 questions, proves it can challenge Siri

Google Now is a fresh feature added in Android 4.1 platform (Jelly Bean) , first put to display in the Google I/O 2012 developers conference. An obvious Siri challenger, some were skeptical of how well Google Now would perform while others were confident in Google’s ability to pound out a useful tool.
Initially, third-party reviews Google Now found it to be not so brilliant which probably lowered public expectations about Google Now, at least for a die-hard part of the Android population. But Youtube user JLishere has conducted a test of 47 questions and has found Google Now to be brilliant; something that not even Google Now’s public demonstration at the Google I/O conference could display. Watch the 10 minute video below to see for yourself:
As I’m sure you noticed in the video, Google’s answer to Apple’s Siri does many more things other than just searching a keyword or being used for navigational help; it can answer a variety of questions and do a variety of tasks. Some users have also reported that Google Now ‘learns’ a user’s habits and adjusts itself to match those habits, thus providing for a better experience for the user. For example, if you have a habit of checking the weather everyday after you wake up, Google Now presents you with the weather everyday when you wake up. Or if you have the habit of checking sports scores frequently, Google Now automatically provides you with the score if it finds that a match is going on.
Doesn’t Google Now look cool? Or do you feel that it will be rated below its counterpart, Siri? Share your comments with us.
