Tweetbot is a superb Twitter client for your iDevice [iPhone]

Tweetbot is the only Twitter client you will ever need. On top of its incredibly attractive user interface, Tweetbot has an equally tremendous assortment of features. The app boasts multiple timelines, smart gestures, and native push notifications that make the user experience a quality one. Besides your timeline, mentions, and messages, you can also customize two more screens with your favorites, lists, retweets, a search feature, and and Tweetbot’s mute filters. Your present timelines position, direct message read statuses, and mute filters are also fully synced with iCloud if you want to continue where you left off on another iDevice.

If you use Twitter and can afford this app, then do so immediately. There are actually several good Twitter clients out there, but Tweetbot blows them away. The ability to share tweets with services such as Pocket, Instapaper, Readability, etc. is great feature, but what really takes the cake is Tweetbot’s own”mute filters”. Mute filters allow you to stop messages coming from users without actually unfollowing them. Some might use this to not offend someone who you don’t like hearing from, but I use the feature to quiet sports experts who talk about non-sports topics during the offseason. I am not interested in hearing about fishing trips from a guy who is supposed tell me the latest news in the NFL.
