Don’t like Google Drive or Dropbox? Sync your documents and files to Amazon’s Cloud Drive [Windows]

[1]There are plenty of high-quality clouds being produced by reputable companies, including Google Drive, Dropbox, and Microsoft SkyDrive. However, if you’re looking for one from a company known for its impressive cloud infrastructure, try Amazon Cloud Drive.

Amazon gives you 5GB of storage for free, which is on par with Google Drive, less than SkyDrive, and much much more than Dropbox’s default 2GB. The downside to this is that there’s no possibility to increase this space without paying like you can with Dropbox.

Cloud Drive is designed to integrate with Amazon’s online MP3 player. This means you can combine your music collection with your collection purchased from Amazon. You can also of course upload your other documents, but there’s no online editor like there is with Google Drive.

Amazon Cloud Drive is a nice way to synchronize your data across your various devices, but it really lacks the cross-platform support of Dropbox and Google Drive. Overall, if you’re looking to simply store data in the cloud, it might be a nice choice, but Google Drive is a much more interesting choice for anyone looking to do that, and allows for greater¬†expandability.
