Price drop on Samsung Galaxy S III: Amazon is selling it for $99 with two-year contract on Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T [USA]

If your in the market for a brand new phone, then your in luck. Amazon, for a limited time only, has dropped the price of 16GB Galaxy S III from the regular $199.99 to $99.99 with two-year contract on Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T; and thanks to Amazon’s free two-day shipping, your new phone will arrive in just two days, but of course you can always speed that up.

It should be noted, however, the price varies based on service type you sign-up. To get the phone for $99.99, you have to sign up for a new individual line or family plan. If you are an existing customer with Sprint, Verizon, or AT&T, then adding a new line or upgrading your phone means paying $149.99 ($119.99 if adding a new line to family plan) for the phone… which is a discount versus buying directly from Sprint, Verizon, or AT&T (especially if you consider how you don’t pay tax on Amazon) but not as good as $99.99
