I love Chrome [2]. I love it so very much. It’s fast, it’s reliable, it’s secure, and, even when I’m playing Flash games on Facebook, it hardly ever crashes.

Of course, I’m referring to the desktop version of Google’s popular browser. The Chrome on my phone… well, let’s just say that I ended up replacing it with Dolphin Browser HD a few weeks ago due to some annoying glitches and the occasional random phone restart. I can’t blame Chrome for that last one – my cell has been given me issues for weeks – but the bugginess? That was kind of their fault.

However, today an update for Android’s Chrome is being offered in the Google Play Store, and, with it’s promised fixes of bugs and security updates, it has me staring at it’s little red-yellow-green circle with something akin to nervous anticipation. Will it be as good as Dolphin? Will it be better? Do I have the guts to download it and find out? The answer is yes, yes I do. And while I don’t know if I’m replacing Dolphin with it just yet, I do know that I’m not noticing the issues I had with it previously.

Okay, Google. You convinced me again. I’m giving Chrome for Android a second chance.

Check out the official change log and Google Play Store link below to try it for yourself!
