For those who design their own WordPress themes, or simply want to see how things look with a “wall-o-text” in place, there are a bunch of free Lorem Ipsum generators for use around the web. However, who wants to tab off of their design work in order to grab a clipboard full of nonsense? With Lorem Ipsum Generator for Opera, you don’t have to.
The add-on places a convenient button on your browser that you can open at any time on any page. This button brings up an overlaying dropdown that allows you to specify the number of words or paragraphs you want to use. When ready, you simply hit the “Load” button and copy the text that appears. Once copied, you can paste the text wherever you want.
Being such a great design tool, it’s a shame that this little add-on seems to be relatively unknown, with only 13 downloads to date. For what it is, it does it’s job admirably, and is a good addition to any designer’s toolkit.
