Board games were an integral part of most people’s childhood, but after they grow up, they tend to sit more on the back burner of life. Since the invention of the modern smartphone, however, they’ve made a comeback in the form of quick little games for you to play on your commute. If you fondly remember playing Reversi or Othello, Reversi Free is the perfect app for you to bring that game with you wherever you go.
Reversi Free is an unremarkable recreation of reversi for your phone or tablet. It gives you a standard 8×8 Reversi board with two themes, and when playing against your device, has 10 difficulty levels. You can also play two-player hot seat mode, in which you and a friend both use the same device to play against each other. You can also view your Win/Lose stats.
Overall, Reversi Free is a nice way to get Reversi on your phone or tablet. It’s definitely not the most amazingly designed app, though, and with a little searching you may be able to find a better-looking one with more features. Still, it’s the perfect app for anyone who wants zero frills and no extra bloat.
