[Android] Surf your way to the light at the end of the tunnel in Subway Surfers

Since March, Android users have been able to play the extremely famous game Temple Run. Subway Surfers, while not nearly as famous, is now making its ways to Google’s shores as well, and was released into Play Store today. Much like Temple Run, you play as a person running along a track collecting coins and avoiding obstacles–but unlike Temple Run, you’re a kid named Jake who just tagged a train, and you can use your hoverboard to escape the security guard and his dog. Who doesn’t like hoverboards!?

When you start Subway Surfers, you’ll have to be careful to avoid the oncoming trains. They don’t move too fast, so it’s easy to avoid them, but if you want to collect all of the coins, you’ll need to do some pretty smooth flying. Later, however, they come faster and faster, and avoiding them becomes more of a challenge.

Subway Surfers is an entertaining take on the Temple Run genre. It’s certainly not for everyone, but the gameplay is fun, and the environment fits the game much better.
