With the shift from physical publication to Internet publication in full swing, for the past few years major newspapers, magazines, and other sources of media have hid themselves behind a “pay wall” — a monthly subscription people must may if they want to read content from that organization via their websites. I don’t mind ads to support a site (and I actually support it all), but the New York Times’ ads can be some of the most intrusive, blocking a full webpage when your cursor inadvertently rolls over an unseen trigger point.
@Mike: Yeah, I hate those types of ad. I vow to never run such ads on dotTech.
