You know why Google is successful? Data. You know what Google needs to manage and store that data? Data centers. Have you ever seen inside a Google data center? Probably not, unless you work at one or you worked for the contractor that built one. Want to see inside a Google data center? Now you can.

The following are images of Google’s data centers. Apparently Google data centers are a lot more colorful than what one might expect. Check it out:

I don’t know about you, but the first thought that came to my mind when I saw the data center photos is “typical Google”. And, yes, that is a bicycle in the third photo you see above.

If you want to see more photos of “where the internet lives”, you can view them on Google’s official data center photos page.

    Something tells me that they really enhanced the color intensity in these pictures. There is a reason that no persons appear in them… they would look like aliens.

    Hello, all.
    I think these “data centers” are also the same address as “SkyNet”!

    Have a GREAT day, neighbors!

    @AFPhys: What Darryl said. I only picked the photos with tech in them — there are photos with people in them, too.
    @Darryl: Thanks for clarifying that.
    @sl0j0n: o_O
