HTC and Verizon Wireless have just announced their latest partnership, the Droid DNA by HTC. Its most notable feature is its 5-inch full HD 1080p 1920×1080 screen (440 ppi), the same resolution that we see on our large HDTVs and computer monitors. It’s also one of the most powerful Android phones to date, boasting a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro, 2GB of RAM, LTE capability, Beats Audio, and built-in wireless charging.
The Droid DNA will be available on November 21st in the US, exclusively through Verizon. Japan will also be getting a similar phone in the form of HTC J Butterfly, which basically only differs in name from the Droid DNA. Hopefully we’ll see more carriers around the world announcing availability for this phone in the near-future, as its looking like one of the best Android offerings this year.
