These are the types of people you see standing in midnight game release lines [Comic]

The other day I took someone to GameStop to preorder Call of Duty: Black Ops II. That particular day just happened to be the day before (of?) the midnight release of Call of Duty: Black Ops II. As we walked up, two guys were sitting outside the store while another guy with this son (little brother?) walked up and joined them. At the time I didn’t think much of it and just walked into GameStop.
Later, while inside GameSpot, I realized this was the line waiting for the midnight release of Call of Duty: Black Ops II. I was genuinely surprised at this fact; I did not realize people still line up for game releases. In fact, I was so surprised I asked the guy working at GameStop “do people still line up for games”, and he replied in return “all the time”.
And this is where the following comic comes in — check it out:
“I’m a cautionary tale -52 year old man by himself” LMAO!

Had to chuckle when I saw that comic.
My son went out yesterday afternoon to buy Battle Royal which was released yesterday. No lineup. However, we live in a small city so no surprise there.
I have seen lineups for games when I lived in Toronto, and they were long and contained many of whom are depicted in the comic.
I pass by Best Buy on my daily walk. This morning the tents were all lined up for the big Thanksgiving sale, and I bet every one of these people were there. I’m not sure when the sale starts, but half of those campers were there yesterday morning, too. Apparently, life without tech is futile!
Hey Ashraf,
what happened to the amazing photo of the day? I really wanted to see it and i missed out
@Mags: See? dotTech does apply to real life (sometimes)!
@MerryMarjie: I’ve never been able to line up for Black Friday deals…
@Prema: It was supposed to be published as usual but WordPress failed. I have published it now. Sorry about that!
