The world’s smallest car looks really painful to drive [Video]

Jeremy Clarkson, host of the BBC’s Top Gear, recently showed off what appears to be the tiniest car. It’s called the P45, and it looks more like a go-kart where the driver wears armor. But according to Clarkson, the helmet is actually the car’s roof, the visor is its windshield. Everything else is the car’s body… I guess.

Before I saw this video, I thought Smart cars were small. They’re probably more comfortable though. But maybe add a little cushioning around the interior of the P45 and we could have a real winner! A very slow one. Oh well, at least it’s compact, right?

LOL! Very funny video. Don’t really understand the purpose of something like that, though.

This is typical of Clarkson when he’s trying to make a point, he goes to an extreme. Watched this when it was originally broadcast in the UK – brilliant.

@kevbo: Yeah, it’s too ridiculous for people to use seriously. But it’s funny, so it’s all good!

The world is full of lawns and they need to be mowed. He is driving a single task, albeit unimposing, vehicle. It is suboptimal for the purposes he envisions.
