Starbucks employees are really, really terrible at spelling names [Image]

Living in the United States and having a name of Arabic origins is, for the lack of a better word, interesting. Rarely can anyone properly say my name. And I have to give a fake name whenever I go to Starbucks because otherwise the employees there will spell it horrendously or will ask me to spell it out, which wastes time. (I usually use ‘Bob’.) Apparently I am not the only one.
A guy named ‘Bryan’ went to Starbucks and told the person making the coffee: “My name is Bryan, with a ‘y’”. This is what he got:
Seriously? Briany?

My wife has an uncommon name and constantly has to spell it for people; the brainiacs working at Starbucks seem to have more trouble with it than most.
