Are you rolling in the dough? Craving for an outdated handset that’s made with ridiculous material and costs the same amount as a car?? Vertu’s got you covered! Their latest luxury phones has arrived in the form of the Vertu Ti (it’s made of titanium, get it?), and it’s yours for the low low price of $10,000.

Besides being made of titanium, the Ti has a sapphire crystal display, and is handmade in England. As for the innards of the device, however, you’re stuck with a dual-core SnapDragon S4 processor and Android 4.0 — you’d think for that kind of money, the phone would at least be on par with the most recent Android devices, but it’s far from it. Vertu’s head of design actually acknowledges this when he told the BBC: ”Vertu will never be at the bleeding edge of technology… it has to be about relevant technology and craftsmanship – it’s not a disposable product.”

But as Gizmodo notes, the phone comes with a 24-hour concierge service. So you don’t  actually need the phone to do stuff anyway.

For $10k, they can answer my calls for me. Who needs techno garbage like this.

When something is”overpriced” (or so I think) I usually ask if it is laced in gold. Well I guess this applies.
I remember a housewife from the Bravo hit series that bought a $10,000 pair of sunglasses. And the sunglasses did not come with 24-hour concierge service.
    Go Figure.

Yeah, I could put 10k to much better use than spending it on this phone and it’s concierge service.

I remember when most of their phones were manufactured for Nokia… Didn’t think they were still alive, especially with those prices…
