This guy turned his AK-47 into a saxophone [Image]

Someone who was simply bored, ingenuity in the face of harsh financial conditions, a salute to peace, a love for music, or simply an opportunity to turn a leftover war relic to good use, or maybe some other reason — I really don’t know. Whatever the reason may be, the following image of an AK-47 turned into a saxophone is pretty powerful if you ask me. Check it out:

Unfortunately, I don’t know the backstory of this image. I don’t even know if the AK-47 belonged (belongs) to the man in the picture and if the man is in the picture is the one who turned it into a sax. However, putting context clues together (black man with an AK-47), one could say it is probably an image of someone in Africa. However, that would be racist. So we aren’t going to say that. We are going to say he is a Canadian tinkerer who bought the AK-47 from a junkyard and wanted to put it to good use.

    Lord, if he did that in Canada — presuming he could even FIND an AK-47 up here — he & his sax would be in an RCMP lock-up before he blew the first note. We take our gun control up here VERY seriously — some kid recently got arrested (briefly) in a suburb of Vancouver for carrying an umbrella that looked like a rifle! That aside, this really IS neat! Can’t think of a better use for it.
