As I am sure many dotTechies already know, NASA has terminated its Space Shuttle program in favor of helping fostering the commercial (private) sector fill the gap… and so NASA can save money (which hopefully will be put towards other cutting-edge research).
The following photo is a long-exposure taken of the Space Shuttle Endeavour launch at night on February 8, 2010, one of the last Space Shuttle missions. Check it out:
