I am sure, in our childhoods (or maybe even as adults), most of us have played, seen someone play, or at least know how to play the ‘rock, paper, scissors’ game. Thus all of us probably know rock beats scissors, scissors beats paper, and paper beats rock. Check it out:

Shouldn’t that be “rock beats scissors, scissors beats paper…”? or is this ‘east coast rules’ where rock beats everything? >;->

Seems pretty inappropriate, to me. Making fun of domestic abuse.
[@greg] This is the most rigid Politically Correct comment I think I have ever seen. It’s like saying sarcasm should never be used because it can hurt someone’s feeling. Bantering back and forth, same reason. FLEXIBILITY it the key to getting along with people, knowing when the context is OK to do these things.

What if the rock had depicted a child? Would that make it less palatable? How about a Black person? Hurting someone’s feelings and making fun of an entire class of abused people are not the same thing.
