Throughout this whole week, you’ll be able to get special deals on everything from movies, music, apps and even magazines. As of posting, there are deals for a $15 gift card from Fancy and a free download of the pilot episode of Breaking Bad for US users, among others.

Well… the first email I received had a bunch of worthless promotion. Frankly I was disappointed with the 1-year message. Google could do much better by exceeding our expectations… instead they only offered to slough off junk offers.

[@Tom] I agree. So far the offers have been crap.

Only thing interesting was the book, but I need to set up Google Wallet… Not worth the time.

if there could be a list of paid apps that are offered free this week, it would be better. google should have done it.

[@mukhi] That’s exactly what they should have done! Completely agree.
